Our investment

Following the acquisition of Parship, we signed a transformational deal to acquire ElitePartner, just 6 weeks after the original deal, and combined the two businesses to form Parship Elite Group – the premier matchmaking brand in Europe.

Under our ownership, €7.0m of synergies were delivered, with the implementation of a common technical platform in under 12 months.

The business demonstrated strong organic growth, with EBITDA increasing 43% CAGR from 2015 to 2017.

In addition, we worked closely with management and partnered with ProSiebenSat.1, to introduce a revised brand media strategy, which captured an increasing share of the growing market.

In 2018, Oakley sold Parship Elite Group to Nucom Group, to ProSiebenSat.1’s Commerce Unit, achieving returns of 4.7x and 118% IRR.

Our origination network helps us source investments others cannot. Often, we are the first institutional investor in our portfolio companies.
