K12 Investments
The Group has a clear mission to deliver high-quality educational outcomes through a scalable, professionally managed platform. Since inception, Oakley has pursued a disciplined buy-and-build strategy in a highly fragmented market, creating a differentiated and resilient education group.
Over the past year, the platform has undergone a significant phase of professionalisation. During this period, Thomas Rajzbaum, formerly a Partner at EQT, was appointed CEO of the Affinitas Group to support the next phase of growth. The Group has developed a comprehensive Education Framework for Excellence and implemented a new performance appraisal system for Heads of School and Regional Directors. Central functions have also been strengthened across safeguarding, IT, HR, finance, marketing, property and M&A, providing the infrastructure required to support scale.
Alongside operational transformation, the group has continued to expand through strategic M&A, completing 3 bolt-on acquisitions during the year and 19 acquisitions in the first three years since inception. Oakley continues to work closely with management to drive integration, maintain quality standards and support long-term growth.
